MUT teams are doing well in the last edition of the 2024 USSA Games at various venues. Thanduxolo Ngobese, an S3 Mechanical Engineering student, successful defended her title, and won a gold medal again in the 60kg category. She is now an USSA champion. Mesuli Nkosi, second year Accounting student, also won gold in the same category. He is now USSA national Boxing champion. The tournament took place at Walter Sisulu University (WSU), from the 2 – 4 December 2024
