Institutional Advancement at MUT
Institutional Advancement (IA) at MUT is a new structure which seeks to advance the University’s Vision and Mission, and its Strategic Goals, through three key pillars:
- Fundraising and Development
- Enterprise Development
- Alumni Relations
While its over-arching thrust is to establish and secure an enabling environment and financial sustainability, Institutional Advancement will advocate for and support all advancement initiatives; streamline, centralise and channel initiatives to attain professionalisation and to optimise outcomes, and seek partners for the generation of Third-stream Income. In this endeavour, it will work closely with leadership, academic and support structures at MUT.
IA goals: To introduce, integrate and embed the philosophy and practice of advancement into the institution, through a focus on Fundraising and Development, Enterprise Development and Alumni Relations.
Our Vision: To become an exemplar of institutional advancement practice and a worthy social investment partner.
Our Mission: To advance MUT through resource mobilisation, philanthropic partnerships and enterprise, for a sustainable future.
